Once again Darden has answered again on April 24 with a firm kind NO about a future Red Lobster possibly coming to Carrollton. The story below is from November of Last Year. Thought we would share it again with you due to the recent Under Contract sign next to Steak n Shake and rumors flying. Again NO Red Lobster.
You would not believe all the emails I’ve received recently from fans asking about Red Lobster. I put in an email to Darden requesting real estate information about this eatery. Please see the response below. Permission was granted to use this in our post.
Darden’s brands, including Red Lobster, continue to grow, so our real estate teams are constantly looking for sites across the country. However, we are not looking in Carrollton at this time. However, Carrollton-area guests can dine with us at the closest Red Lobster restaurants located on Bill Arp Road in Douglasville or on Bullsboro Drive in Newnan.
So the answer is “NO.” Hopefully that will stop some of the rumors.
