Update : NOW OPEN and UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT
We received a very long and informative text message from the owner of American Deli this morning. Evidently the restaurant was closed last night and will remain closed until the former operator can find new ownership and management. In the text message the former operator says that all employees will be paid for hours worked. The message goes on to talk about some sensitive legal issues that occurred throughout his time at the store. Once we have a reopening date we will let you know. Keep checking back!
