Bowdon Cluster Schools Win 1st Place at West Georgia Regional Technology Fair

(Carrollton, Ga. – January 15, 2015) The West Georgia Regional Technology Fair was held in Newnan, Georgia on Friday, January 9, 2015. The Bowdon Schools Cluster entered 13 different teams. Six of the teams won first place and will advance to the state competition in March. The Bowdon Cluster includes the following teams:

Animated Graphic Design- Bryson Adams and Ellen Powell who placed second and third place in the third/fourth grade division

Digital Photography- Naomi Kent placed first and Analisa Silva placed second in the third/fourth grade competition, and Zachery McEwen placed first in the fifth/sixth grade division.

Six-time STAR teacher, Alice taught Advanced Placement English, literature, composition, speech and theater for over twenty years, part of which time she also served as Director of Admissions, Development, Public Relations, and Alumni at Oak Mountain Academy.
