Carroll County School Students Win at the 2015 Kiwanis Art & Music Showcase

2015 Kiwanis Art Winners 2

(Carrollton, Ga. – February 16, 2015) Carroll County School visual arts students competed in the 2015 Kiwanis Art & Music Showcase this past weekend. In art, Central High School students Sydney Ellis placed 1st receiving a $400 award, Alana Sasser placed 3rd receiving a $200 award, Rebecca Dawson placed 4th receiving a $100 award, and an honorable mention with a $50 award was received by Ashley Henderson. Bowdon High School students Molly Ward placed 2nd receiving a $300 award and Kirkland Poppies received an honorable mention with a $50 award. Mt. Zion High School student Nick Craft received an honorable mention with a $50 award.

In music, Central High School students Elijah Green placed 4th receiving a $200 award and Dayton Peek placed 5th receiving a $100 award.
