Sand Hill Elementary Exceeds Goal in Jump Rope for Heart Event

(Carrollton, Ga. – February 25, 2015) Each year Sand Hill Elementary School has participated in The American Heart Association’s annual Jump Rope for Heart event. This year Sand Hill Elementary’s students did an amazing job by raising over $9700.00, over $1700.00 more than their goal for this year and over $3500.00 from what was raised last year. Fourth grade student, Chase Skipper (pictured below), raised the largest amount by a single student ever at Sand Hill in the amount of $740.

Six-time STAR teacher, Alice taught Advanced Placement English, literature, composition, speech and theater for over twenty years, part of which time she also served as Director of Admissions, Development, Public Relations, and Alumni at Oak Mountain Academy.
