Central High School Students Win the Law of Life Essay Contest

(Carrollton, Ga. – March 19, 2015) Central High School students participated in the Rotary Club sponsored Laws of Life essay contest. Dylon McKinley was honored with the overall 9th grade award. Ninth grade students receiving Honorable Mention were Amelia Farmer, Morgan Collins, and Maria Hernandez.

The Central High School winner and 10th grade overall winner was Miss Anya Dunn. Katelyn Bennett received Honorable Mention for the 10th grade. Kelsi Glover, Simon Shoemake, Daniel Moye, and Joshua Horsley received Honorable Mention for the 11th grade, and Wesley Futrell, Anna Rainwater, and Jacob Barnes received Honorable Mention for the 12 grade.

Six-time STAR teacher, Alice taught Advanced Placement English, literature, composition, speech and theater for over twenty years, part of which time she also served as Director of Admissions, Development, Public Relations, and Alumni at Oak Mountain Academy.
