Temple Middle School FBLA Win at 2015 FBLA Middle Level State Leadership Conference

(Carrollton, Ga. – March 19, 2015) The Temple Middle School Chapter of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) attended the 2015 FBLA Middle Level State Leadership Conference in Perry, Georgia. The following members attended the conference: Matt Cole, Deagrick Cook, Bryson Higdon, Emily Hummer, Baily Kittrell, Mikel Nordholm, Tim Pan, Makhala Stafford, Jaycee Turner, Abby Velez, Lauren Wallace, Kennedy Wilson, Makenzie Wilson, and Jenny Yang. They were accompanied by their adviser, Mrs. Wanda Sumner.

Two members received medals for placing in the top ten and plaques for placing in the top five nd​

during the awards ceremony. Emily Hummer placed 2​in Business Concepts and Makhala Stafford th​

placed 4​in Creed.

Six-time STAR teacher, Alice taught Advanced Placement English, literature, composition, speech and theater for over twenty years, part of which time she also served as Director of Admissions, Development, Public Relations, and Alumni at Oak Mountain Academy. She is the managing partner of Ridley-Teal Properties and content editor for the City Menus. She is a board member of the Carroll Symphony Orchestra and enjoys playing flute with the Carroll Community Wind Ensemble.
