Carrollton Fire Department Chief Jimmy Bearden emailed us the following information about the earlier structure fire at West Georgia Eye Care today. “Tree limb fell on power line which caused fire. Moderate damage to building and roof.” The Carrollton Fire Department acted swiftly to put out the fire. Dixie Street was blocked around Ambulance Drive for an extended time. Businesses along Dixie Street and US 27 lost power for a little bit during the ordeal. Follow us on Twitter @CarrolltonRoads for road condition updates.
