Shortly after this particular announcement, Josh with The Newnan Menu commented inquiring about the store closing along with the remodeling that was just done to the store. However within just a few hours the posting was taken down from their Facebook page. As you can see above we made a Screenshot of it before being deleted. We reached out to the Sears Hometown Store via a phone call today ( Sunday ) to ask about when the store would close. An employee with the store told us they would close on or before August 24th. Currently markdowns are at 30% off. Sears Hometown Store also wants everyone to know that their locations in Carrollton & LaGrange are staying OPEN. The Newnan Sears Hometown Store is located at 40 Greenway Court off Bullsboro Dr near Newnan Station and the Bowling Alley. The Newnan Menu would like to send our best wishes to the employees affected by this closure. We really do not like reporting on retail or restaurant closures in our area, however they do happen at times and the public needs to be informed.
