Late word tonight from construction bid alerts that the Taco Bell on Thornton Rd, the ever busy super congested one at the corner of Blairs Bridge Rd next to Burger King, is slated for remodel later this year. This comes after our report on another location being added in Douglas County at Hwy 92 near Lee Rd. The Taco Bell on Thornton Rd was built around the same time as the location on Stewart Pkwy, which itself completed the same remodel in 2014. The picture above shows the new look made to the late 80s, early 90’s style buildings, as well as a redone interior with new tables and new counters for seating. Once this remodel is complete, all Douglas County and city locations will be up to modern corporate standards. Keep it here for updates regarding the start date and expected completion date.
