News comes from Kroger that the Hospital Drive location will be getting ready to “reset” starting the end of September. Resetting means moving product aisles around and changing displays and sets. In order to provide a better shopping experience, the company has been resetting older stores across the Atlanta Division to a set where shoppers will see groupings of popular items. For example, all kitchenware and household items will be on a single aisle, and all snacks and cookies will be similarly arranged. Until now these items were scattered across the store. In addition to the reset, new shelving and updated fixtures will be installed in the center of the store. Also new aisle guide signs will help you find the products you are looking for, and updated signage will be added to the original decor.

The reset comes before the holidays, when there will be a break. Then in 2016 this Kroger location will be getting new cold and perishable cases around the store. By this time next year, the Hospital Drive Kroger will be completely updated to match the rest of the stores throughout the Atlanta Division. The Chapel Hill store received this treatment last year when they had a full remodel. At this time, we don’t know if the Hwy. 5 location will get the same reset. Keep it here for updates on any additional work being done at this Kroger location between now and 2016.
