We got news yesterday of a remodel coming to a popular section of the Concourse Pkwy Walmart. Construction documents show that the electronics section of Walmart, easily one the busiest sections of the store, is getting a makeover before the end of the year. At this time not much is known about what will be replaced or upgraded. If other Walmart upgrades match this one, the floors will be redone as well as new shelving for products such as DVDs and games, new counters and registers and better lighting. Construction is set to begin later this fall or possibly after the holidays, meaning if the remodel is quick in nature, the new electronics department should be up and running for the holidays. If not, construction might be delayed until afterwards. We’ll keep you posted on progress or start times.
