Based on a follower’s tip left under our story about America’s Best moving across the way in Douglasville Pavilion, we decided to go check out the two empty spaces between Five Below and Petsmart. To our surprise, work has already begun on the move of a major retailer from one shopping center to another. Shoe Carnival which currently occupies space at The Landing At Arbor Place–and has since the center opened in 1999–will be moving across Chapel Hill Road to those empty spaces and joining Michaels, another retailer that made the same move a few years ago. The shoe store is expected to be open in the next few weeks.

Although the middle of The Landing at Arbor Place is empty, the outparcels O’Charley’s, Jared, Daruma Steakhouse, Logan’s Roadhouse, Servis First Bank, Wells Fargo Bank, and Community and Southern Bank are thriving.
