The 5th annual Arts and Crafts in the Woods Show will be held Saturday, November 5th, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on the grounds of the Dog River Library in celebration of the library’s anniversary. The library is located at 6100 Georgia Highway 5 about 1.5 miles south of the Dog River, and is off the highway about a quarter mile “in the woods”.

Arts and Crafts vendors may now apply to exhibit at the Show; the cost per vendor is $25 and is a benefit for the Friends of the Dog River Library, a 501(c)(3) organization which supports the programs of the library. Applications may be found on the County web site at www.CelebrateDouglasCounty.com (under Programs). The Show will include arts and crafts, food, book authors, and community booths. All booths must consist of original productions; no National brands are allowed at this show (Avon, Mary Kay, Scentsy, etc.).

Arts and Crafts in the Woods also features a Used Book Sale inside the library, proceeds from which also benefit the Friends group. Community residents who wish to join the Friends group will have the opportunity to do so at the show.

The show is organized and produced by the Douglas County Department of Communications and Community Relations. For more information, call 770.920.7593.
