Hilton is eying the Thornton Road area for another hotel property. The company has recently added a new extended-stay hotel group to the properties that it manages. Called Home 2 Suites, they cater to extended stays for business professionals. With the other properties already planned for the Bob Arnold Boulevard area, Thornton Road is positioning itself as Douglas County’s main hospitality area. The new property is slated for Interstate West Parkway and Thornton Road across from Blairs Bridge Road. Plans are being submitted now to the County for approval, with construction tentatively slated to start in early 2017.
