Douglas County Chairman Schedules Listening Sessions

Douglas County Commission Chairman Dr. Romona Jackson Jones has scheduled a series of quarterly listening sessions where residents are invited to talk with the Chairman on any topic they desire. Branded as “Walking the Talk Listening Sessions”, they will be designed for participation, as opposed to presentation. This effort is part of Chairman Dr. Jones’ effort for enhanced government transparency.

The “Walking the Talk Listening Sessions” have been scheduled as follows:

· Monday, March 6th, 5:30 – 7 p.m., Lithia Springs Library, 7100 Turner Drive

· Monday, June 19th, 5:30 – 7 p.m., Douglas County Library, 6810 Selman Drive

· Saturday, September 23rd, 11:30 a.m. – 6 p.m., September Saturdays Festival Family Day, Douglas County Courthouse, 8700 Hospital Drive

· Saturday, November 4th, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., Arts & Crafts in the Woods, Dog River Library, 6100 Georgia Highway 5

 

The public is invited to attend. The meetings have free admission.
