CHS Soliciting Senior Letters for Graduates

Carrollton High School started a new tradition last year … The day before graduation, seniors, like Cami Melson above, visited the lower schools to not only visit their old “stomping grounds,” but to inspire future Trojans to achieve this important milestone. Senior letters are another important tradition.

CARROLLTON, GA – Traditions started several years ago have turned into two of the most anticipated hallmarks of a Carrollton High School senior’s year – the senior breakfast, followed by the presentation of senior letters.

The breakfast will be held Friday, April 21, in the CHS cafeteria. This event is for the seniors only, but following the breakfast, family members are invited to the Mabry Center for the Arts for the presentation of the senior letter packets.

Gathering in the Mabry center to receive their individual packet of letters provides seniors with a unique opportunity to share many special memories with their friends and families.

Friends and family members are encouraged to help make this a special event for CHS seniors by sending a letter to a friend, sibling, son or daughter, or student or former student. Please use standard letter-size envelopes, and do not include bulky enclosures or packages. Include the student’s first and last name on the outside of the envelope.

All administrative offices will have boxes designated for letter drop-off. Letters also may be mailed to the following address:

CHS Student Council
c/o Ms. Jeanne Swindle
202 Trojan Drive
Carrollton, Georgia 30117

Be sure to include the student’s name on the front of the envelope.

The deadline to submit letters is Friday, April 14.

Due to volume and time constraints, the school will be unable to print emailed messages. Only envelopes sent to CHS or dropped off at the school by the deadline will be filed in the packets.
