Subject: Baby lamb born at Pine Mountain Gold Museum at Stockmar Park
When: March 31st – April 1st, 2017
Where: Pine Mountain Gold Museum, 1881 Stockmar Road, Villa Rica Georgia 30180

Pine Mountain Gold Museum at Stockmar Park has welcomed its newest member of the family. A baby lamb was born this weekend in the Live Animal Exhibit. This exhibit houses all the animals that you would have seen on a frontier farmstead in 1820’s Georgia. It is standing tradition that the Museum hold a baby lamb naming contest and this birth will be no different!

There is no charge to see the animals in the Live Animal Exhibit (including the new lamb). The exhibit is open from sunrise until sunset every day of the year. There is ample free parking next to the exhibit. If you would like to interact with the animals there is feed available for purchase.

Make sure to stop by the Museum Store and pick up your entry form for the lamb naming contest. One entry will be selected at random by Museum Staff during the May 20th Jeep Show. The winner of the contest will be awarded a Pine Mountain Gold Museum Annual Pass ($50.00 value.) Annual Pass gives unlimited museum entry, $3.00 gold/gemstone panning, $3.00 train rides & 10% discount in the Museum Store for one (1) year.
