A representative with Coweta County Planning and Zoning confirmed to us that the construction at the corner of Fischer Road and Highway 34 is indeed a new Wendy’s. A year ago it was reported to The Newnan Menu that several outparcel plots were being sold at the Fischer Crossing development. The new Wendy’s is the first spark of new development since land was spotted being cleared a year ago. Wendy’s should be open within the next 120 days according to Coweta County Planning and Zoning.
