Carrollton’s longest-standing Chinese restaurant will soon undergo a change in ownership. Gary Tu, owner of Evergreen Chinese Restaurant, said on Thursday that the restaurant will be under new ownership very soon. Evergreen is located inside First Tuesday Mall, and has been open in Carrollton for 24 years. It has earned a reputation as an outstanding restaurant among many of its patrons.
“My parents want to let everyone know that they considered everyone part of the Evergreen family and will miss seeing everyone,” said Richard Tu. “The new owner, Cindy, will take good care of everyone in their stead and hopefully everyone will continue supporting the new owners as they learn the ropes. Mom and dad will still be in town and hopefully will get to see everyone around and about.”
