Emma Robinson, Kaley Byrd, Rase Feather and Brody Lee show their poster on Alzheimer’s Disease during the presentation.

Last week the students in Mr. Chip Stephens’ 7th grade science class at Bowdon Middle School presented research posters to the school’s faculty and staff. The students researched and created posters discussing diseases that affect the organ systems the students have been studying. The posters were created using Google Slides and Chromebooks, which were then printed using the school’s poster maker.

Coach Ty Runels listens to a presentation on Arthritis by 7th graders (L to R): Sarah Bearden, Macie Bristol, Kolby Patterson, Leighann Daniel, and Jasmine White.

The students were encouraged to use good presentation skills, such as using a good speaking voice and making eye contact when presenting information on their topic.
