    Bowdon Middle STEM Team Wins UWG STEM Competition

    Five Bowdon Middle School students competed at UWG’s “Think You Can STEM?” competition on Saturday, March 3. Students had to design and build a water filtration system, analyze water samples using lab equipment and create and design a marketing logo and advertising board. The BMS team, comprised of 8th graders Aidan Astin, Cody Wood,Sam Windom, Jake Duke and 7th grader Sarah Bearden, were named first place champions! The STEM team is under the leadership of Mrs. Kelly Ogles.

    John Pilgrim is a Carrollton native and current Political Science Major at the University of West Georgia. He has been in numerous shows at Carrollton Cultural Arts Center and attended the Governor's Honors Program. John is an avid fan of both food and entertainment and is excited to be a part of The City Menus team.
