    (March 6, 2018, Carrollton, Georgia). Central High School’s Literary Team swept the
    competition for a tie-breaking region champion win. Students were led with first place
    finishes in both chorus and essay competitions. Carolina Butler won 1 st place for her
    narrative essay, Victoria Richardson won 1 st place for her rhetorical essay and Brant
    Entrekin earned 1 st place for his domestic extemporaneous speech.
    Tristan Jones earned 2 nd place in boys’ solo and the boys’ quartet of Will Godbee,
    Joshawa Arnell, Elijah Green and Nolan Crane took 1 st place. Central High School’s
    Literary Team is coached by Chorus teacher Ms. Ruthie Phillips and English teacher Mr. Jamie Biddle. Winning students will travel to Warner Robins for state competition March 17.
