Del Taco is slated to build a new location in Douglasville, much to the satisfaction of many residents who have looked for the restaurant’s return years after the business had closed in Douglasville. The new location will be constructed inside the Arbor Square shopping center in close proximity to Del Taco’s first Douglasville location.

Bids are currently being accepted on the 2,400-square-foot project, which is estimated to begin on June 11.

Del Taco is a major restaurant chain that operates more than 500 locations throughout the United States. The restaurant specializes in American-style Mexican food, and also serves burgers, fries, and milkshakes.

The Del Taco brand has seen a resurgence in recent years, as the chain has grown and expanded to many new locations across the country. For more information, visit the Del Taco website here.
