    Central Recognizes Exceptional Students During Honors & Awards Night

    Central High School honored more than 400 students with grade point averages of 3.5 or higher during the annual Honors & Awards Night celebration. Students in the 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade received academic letters, bars, and certificates for their achievement in the classroom. Students at the top of the junior class are honored with Junior Marshal sashes designating their accomplishments. Junior Marshals are an integral part of the graduation ceremony. Graduating seniors receive honor stoles, cords, medallions, and National Honor Society collars for individual accomplishments. Senior awards are worn for the graduation ceremony scheduled for Thursday, May 17, 2018 at the University of West Georgia Coliseum.

    Linda has been a Carroll County Schools educator since 1995 and currently serves as Central High School’s Media Specialist. In addition, she is a certified fitness instructor with One Life Atlanta Fitness and teaches part-time with the University of West Georgia.
