A new casual-dining restaurant recently opened in Tallapoosa at 5687 GA Highway 100 North. The Lodge Restaurant, which opened in March, offers a variety of home-cooked meals and signature dishes.
“My grandmother likes to say that our restaurant is a fine dining experience with a casual atmosphere,” says Kayla Cole, granddaughter of owner, Nancy Glaze.
Kayla noted that The Lodge is a different restaurant experience as it is nestled in the wooded hills of rural Tallapoosa.
“People really love our atmosphere and our food,” says Kayla. “We serve things like steak, shrimp and grits, and burgers, and we also do a country buffet on Sundays.”
The Lodge Restaurant is open for lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and open for dinner Thursday, Friday, Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
