North College and Career Academy Students Win First Place in National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Competition

(Carrollton, Ga. – June 13, 2018) Carroll County School System is pleased to announce that four students from the North College and Career Academy recently won two Southeastern Emmy Awards. Tony Cook, Ashley Collins, and Tee Wyndom won in the Commercial category for their A.L.I.V.E. Police Driver Course video, and Nevaeh Farmer and Tee Wyndom also won in the Editor category for their editing talent. Each year, students are nominated to participate in the competition sponsored by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) Southeast Chapter. Mr. Ed Cook leads the audio/visual program for the North College and Career Academy.
