Hemrick’s Deli & Cafe in Newnan will soon be home to a new Blimpie location. A store manager confirmed to The City Menus on Tuesday that construction is currently under way on the new addition.
Hemrick’s features a Marathon fueling station and has operated a deli in the store, which is located at 10 Franklin Road in Newnan.
Blimpie is a submarine sandwich chain that has locations across the United States. The company has been in business for over 50 years and has several locations in the state of Georgia.
The Newnan Blimpie location will be the first store location in the west Georgia area. At onetime Blimpie had several locations in the area. The store manager at Hemrick’s said the sandwich shop is expected to be completed and opened in August.
