One of Carrollton’s most popular discount bargain stores appears to have closed its doors. The space that was formerly home to the 99 Cent Store, located at 3743 North Highway 27, is now up for rent.

The 99 Cent Store opened in 2015 and featured grocery items for sale that were all 99 cents or below.

The building’s owner said the store has no plans to reopen at the location and there have been other businesses that have expressed interest in the space.
