A popular Hogansville restaurant has risen from the ashes after a devastating fire. Rogers Pit Cooked Bar-B-Que, located at 1863 East Main Street, recently reopened, nearly four months after a fire started in the pit and moved quickly to the attic. Owners Randy and Toni Striblin said that the restaurant has been even busier than it was before the fire. During rebuilding, the owners took the time also to update the fixtures, furniture, and decor in the dining room while also upgrading some of the kitchen equipment.
