New Campus Progress
The school recently celebrated an official Groundbreaking of the new campus on Cedar Street! This progress could not have occurred soon enough, as the school continues its incredible growth trajectory. The new campus has been thoughtfully designed, with input from Liberty Eagle’s founders, Dr. Anna and Brent Harris, its current Lead Teachers, Montessori consultants, and even a few of the parents whose children attend Liberty Eagle.
Liberty Eagle Academy’s new campus is projected to be completed mid-2019. The new campus will have space for increased enrollment as Liberty Eagle grows to provide Montessori education opportunities for children through college preparatory [high school] age. Some exciting side projects they aspire to incorporate include: geothermal gardening, maker spaces for carpentry, 3D printing, and other crafts, as well as a large, mezzanine level library of resources for hands-on research. Accreditation Progress
Liberty Eagle Academy is thrilled to announce the results of recent efforts to accredit its new Montessori elementary program—the Georgia Accrediting Commission has recognized this program as Accredited with Quality! The Elementary program is led by two teachers, whom have demonstrated their immense dedication to the growth and success of this new program. In the time since this school year began, the Elementary classroom has gone on five Outings! Outing logistics are often organized by the children in Montessori schools—children gain practical life experience in time organization, scheduling, transportation and route logistics, financial costs and benefits, while also delving deeper into Outing-relevant academic pursuits. Liberty Eagle Academy’s Inaugural Liberty Ball
The Liberty Ball will be a fun, formal event with delicious cuisine, an open bar, an amazing live band, a Silent Auction with great items/fun packages, and lots of dancing–when was the last time you had the opportunity to dress to the nines and go on a formal date?
Join us at the Liberty Ball on Friday, November 2nd, 7 p.m.-10:30 p.m., and let loose before the holiday season! All are welcome to attend this exclusive event, one of the very first events held at Venue on Cedar–a new event location designed by Chef Tano Phommasith, owner of Little Hawaiian Seafood Grill and Tiki Lounge.
For those intrigued by the Silent Auction aspect of this event, there are sponsorship opportunities available! This is a great event to showcase your business while showing support for a great local school. Many different packages have been donated for the Silent Auction, and a variety of different types are accepted. In addition to donations for the Silent Auction, businesses may also elect to sponsor a table; sponsoring a table secures ten tickets in addition to providing you with branding/advertising opportunities both at the event and on the event webpage. All proceeds from the Liberty Ball will benefit Liberty Eagle Academy’s scholarship fund.
