Carroll County School System is pleased to announce that the Pride of Temple Marching Band was named Silver Division Grand Champions at the Golden River Marching Festival and received superior ratings for drum major, color guard, percussion, and band. In Class AAA, the band also received First in Class awards for color guard, percussion, and band. The Pride of Temple Marching Band earned a Second in Class award for drum major and was awarded trophies for best front ensemble and best props. This festival completes a very successful season for the Pride who also received all superior ratings and various First in Class awards at both the Lake Martin Invitational and the Coastal Empire Classic marching competitions. The Pride of Temple now looks forward to their performance in the 2018 Children’s Christmas Parade in Atlanta on December 1, 2018.
