West Georgia Creamery, located at 444 Cavender Lane in Bowdon, closed its doors at 6:00 Friday evening until further notice. The creamery held a sale on their remaining milk and discounted hats and t-shirts on its last day of business to the public.

“We at West Georgia Creamery are sad to inform our milk-lovers that operations will be suspended due to unforeseen circumstances. Hopefully, business as usual will resume in the future. We appreciate all the tremendous support over the last one and a half years. You have made the long, tireless hours worthwhile,” said the owners of West Georgia Creamery.

Since July of 2017, the creamery has taken pride in providing the community with milk from their very own grass-fed Jersey and Holstein cows. The creamery offered cream line, whole, non-homogenized, low-temp pasteurized milk, and buttermilk. In addition, specially blended chocolate, strawberry, peaches and cream, and other flavored milk was sold.
