Carroll County Schools Air Force JROTC Earns Distinguished Unit Award

The Carroll County Schools Air Force JROTC received the Distinguished Unit award for the 4th year in a row. The award is given to recognize the personal growth and accomplishments of JROTC Cadets and the contributions of their instructors as mentors. In addition, the award makes note of the support the program receives from the school and local community.

The Carroll County Schools Air Force JROTC earned the Distinguished Unit award for meeting award criteria and for averaging a minimum of 12 hours of community service per individual cadet. JROTC Cadets earned in excess of 1,600 hours this year, performing community service for Carroll County residence.
