It seems some new life is being pumped into the Fairburn Rd corridor with the new ownership of Bonz now Joey’s Bar & Grill, the opening of Jump N Rock in January, and now with Tractor Supply on the southern end. That new life seems to be spreading to the I-20 Interchange that has been somewhat vacant since reconstruction of the interchange ended 5 years ago. Today we can add a new place for phillys, wings and burgers (and salads for the health conscience in all of us)….one you probably have been to before. Bubba Macs has been in operations since 1997 on Douglasville’s North side on Dallas Hwy. As of Tuesday, the popular N. D’ville eatery will open a 2nd location in the former KFC on Fairburn Rd next to I-20. They picked a spot that will spread their name south and hopefully further being directly situated off a major interchange with I-20. They are ready to satisfy those who are craving a philly steak, or a wing fling. With this, hopefully the remainder of the interchange will follow suit with plenty of spaces for more retail and fast food for weary travelers. Cheers to the spread of good food for Bubba Macs 2nd location!
