We got this great story from the county we’d like to share with you to end this week. Douglas County has a county wide champion for our annual spelling bee held at the Courthouse. This year’s winner is Madiena Asisullah of Factory Shoals Middle School. Congrats to her from us at The Douglasville Menu! Madiena will now go on to the state level representing Douglas County.

Also congrats to Ameer Clark from Chestnut Log Middle School for 2nd place finish, as well as Anh Ho from Turner Middle School for 3rd place.

Thanks as always to Wes Tallon for the info from the county.
