A new party supply store is set to open next week at 1004 Bankhead Highway in Carrollton. West Georgia Party Place will feature party supplies and rental items for any party or event.
“We wanted to open a party store because there is so much of a demand for it here, and there’s nowhere around here that sells the items we plan to carry,” said Shanda McCray, owner. “We are happy to be able to serve the people of west Georgia with any party supplies they need.”
West Georgia Party Place will open on February 19, and will host a grand opening on March 17.
“We will have everything you need for a, including party bouncy houses, cotton candy machines, popcorn machines, tables and chairs, and lots of other items,” said McCray. “We plan to carry anything you might find at a Party City location.”
McCray also said she plans to offer character rentals for customers in which they can order their child’s favorite cartoon character to visit their party in costume.
“People can rent the costume and wear it themselves, or we can send someone out to wear the costume and play the part of the character,” said McCray.
West Georgia Party Place will be open Monday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
