Costco Announces Opening Date

Costco is moving along quickly with the construction of their new location at Fischer Crossing in Sharpsburg. Swarms of construction equipment and workers have been operating around the clock to prepare the new store for its opening in August.

Officials with Costco have released an opening date of August 22 via their Facebook page and website. The new gas station was installed two weeks ago and paving is about to begin for most of the parking lot. Once finished, the Sharpsburg Costco will be around 157,000 square feet.

The Fischer Crossing area will feature a Kaiser Permanente office, Jim N’ Nick’s BBQ (Click here to read more), along with a few other major tenants that are still in the pending stage.
