Several of our loyal readers and tipsters noticed that Hungry Howie’s and Five Guys suddenly closed at the Chapel Hill Centre along Chapel Hill Road in Douglasville.

A sign on the door at Five Guys reads, “To our friends in Douglasville, Sunday, September 22, this location will be permanently closed. We have enjoyed serving you at this location and hope you can visit us at our other location.” The closest Five Guys location is at 1757 East West Connector in Austell.

At Hungry Howie’s, there was no sign found regarding the closure. Hungry Howie’s opened on December 8, 2011 in this shopping center.

Recently LBX Investments purchased the Chapel Hill Village Shopping center from Cole Credit Property Trust. Read more about that transaction by clicking here.
