The Carrollton Kiwanis Board of Directors donated more than $1,000 in restaurant gift cards to Central High School. After collecting from area businesses and restaurants, Chick-Fil-A matched the donation, dollar-for-dollar.

The gift cards support students who may be experiencing food insecurity during the winter break. Kiwanis member Dr. Amber Smallwood and Vice President Mr. Clint Backstrom personally deliver the gift cards to Assistant Principal Mr. Rick Sauls.

“We are grateful for the support the Carrollton Kiwanis Club is giving our students. These gift cards will help meet the food needs of many students over the holidays. I cannot say thank you enough for their generous and thoughtful gesture,” stated Central High School Assistant Principal Mr. Rick Sauls.
