Central High School Celebrates Creative Writing Winners

Central High School students earned honors during this year’s Cultural Arts Center Creative Writing Contest. Alaina Carey earned the Writers Guild Choice Award for her short story entry. Angela Gentry was awarded 1st place for her poetry entry. The Carrollton Cultural Arts Center hosts the writing contest annually, in hope of inspiring and showcasing the creative writing talent of students in our community. Ms. Abigail Smith teaches Alaina and Ms. Amanda Thornton teaches Angela.
