Ashley Park Hosts First-Ever Drive-In and Dine Live Concert

Ashley Park announces its first-ever drive-in concert, Drive-In & Dine LIVE. This socially distant event will take place on Friday, July 17 from 6 – 8 PM in the parking lot directly behind Dillard’s.

The concert will include live music from local band Seven Sharp Nine, giveaways, and special, family-friendly takeout and delivery menus from select Ashley Park restaurants, all to be enjoyed from the comfort of guests’ own vehicles.

“Ashley Park is thrilled to offer Newnan residents a drive-in concert experience,” said David Macdonald, general manager for Ashley Park. “Our goal is to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests outside of their homes while remaining socially distant.”

A mainstay in the Atlanta music scene, the band, Seven Sharp Nine, will have you singing and dancing along to their Pop/Rock/Dance music from all time periods (extra emphasis on the 80’s and 90’s). They have opened for National Acts Collective Soul, Edwin McCain, REO Speedwagon, The Romantics, Sugar Hill Gang, and Lonestar. Television networks VH-1, MTV, E! Network, Bravo, A&E, WE, National Geographic, and HGTV have all licensed Seven Sharp Nine original songs for their shows. Seven Sharp Nine has toured nationally and now focuses on the Southeast. Be ready to jump into their fun, high energy show!

Tickets for this event will be sold in advance on the Ashley Park website. Tickets are $10 per vehicle with a limit of six people per car. One hundred percent of the proceeds will be donated to local Newnan non-profit Bridging the Gap.

Upon arrival to the parking lot directly behind Dillard’s, the event parking team will direct guests to their parking spaces to set up and enjoy the show. After presenting tickets at the drive-up check-in tent, guests will be directed to park on a first-come, first-served basis as instructed by the parking team. Every other parking space will be blocked off to ensure each vehicle has enough room to socially distance and sit outside of the vehicle if desired.

Several Ashley Park restaurants are offering special menus for concert guests. Visit the Ashley Park website ashleyparknewnan.com to view the menus and place an order by noon on Friday, July 17 to guarantee vehicle delivery during the concert. Takeout is also available.

Ashley Park asks guests to evaluate their health and well-being before attending. If a guest or attendee is feeling sick, Ashley Park kindly requests those guests stay home for the safety of others.
