First United Methodist Annual Consignment Sale Will Go On

Put on your favorite mask and join us for the greatly anticipated Annual Consignment Sale sponsored by Newnan First United Methodist Church’s Preschool and Kindergarten, 33 Greenville St., Newnan. The community is invited to shop on Friday, September 18 from 9-5 and Saturday, September 19 from 8 to noon at the church. (All marked Items will be half-price on Saturday.) A special preview night will be held Thursday at 5:30 for ticket holders and 6:30 pm for school teachers with a valid ID. No children allowed at this preview. The ticket/ID holder only will be admitted.

Sue Davis is a local freelance writer whose work can be seen in any COWETA Magazine issue over the last three years. She is the author of Lilly and Billy Visit the Farm, a picture book based on the history of Newnan, and she is published in two anthologies of short stories and various web-based content. Her interests include oil painting, reading, and baking “herbaceous” bread. Sue lives with her husband Larry and rescued golden retriever, Mariah, near historic downtown Newnan.
