Updated 8/16/2021: Permits have been issued by the City of Carrollton for construction to fully begin on the space at McIntosh Plaza.

Brighter days ahead are in the forecast for the former spot of 32 Degrees at McIntosh Plaza in Carrollton. This space is in an end cap space across from Legacy Diamond Jewelers. An interior buildout is under way for a new Great American Cookie Company and Marble Slab Creamery. Construction was spotted a few weeks ago, and the rumors started flying. We spoke to the new owners of Carrollton’s soon-expected treat shop this week. One of the owners, Meghan, tells us, “We have taken over the former 32 Degrees storefront and are so excited to bring a Great American Cookie Company and Marble Slab Creamery ice cream to Carrollton!”

In addition to the highly anticipated Carrollton location, the owners currently have locations in Acworth, Dallas, and Cartersville. An opening date for the McIntosh Plaza location has not been announced just yet, but keep checking back with The City Menus for more details on that and hiring.
