Goodwill To Hold Multi-Employer Job Fair at Tabernacle Baptist Church

Blood Drive and Free Wellness Checks Will Also Be Onsite 

What: Goodwill Southern Rivers (Goodwill) will be holding a massive multi-employer job fair at  Tabernacle Baptist Church in Carrollton, Ga. A variety of jobs with competitive pay and benefits will  be available from top employers in the region. The American Red Cross will also be onsite hosting a  blood drive along with the Tanner Health System who will be administering free health and wellness  checks. 

Job seekers attending the hiring event should come dressed for success and ready to interview with  updated copies of their resume in-hand. Individuals are also encouraged to visit the Carrollton Goodwill Career Center and take advantage of the free career readiness classes that include resume  building, interview skills and many other career skills workshops. The event is free and open to the public. Safety guidelines will also still be in place with increased  sanitization of high-touch areas, social distancing and masks recommended. 

Who: Top employers from across the region will be in attendance representing various industries.  Full-time and part-time positions will be available ranging from entry-level to management. Employers  in attendance are set to include: Tanner Health System; Flowers Foods; Printpack; Leggett and Platt  Flooring Products; OFS; Pilgrim’s; Wendy’s; Buchanan Healthcare Center; Zaxby’s and more.

Why: Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers (GoodwillSR) is one of 156 independent,  community-based Goodwill nonprofits across the United States and Canada. Headquartered in  Columbus, Georgia, GoodwillSR serves 50 counties throughout east Alabama and west Georgia. We  provide employment readiness training, computer access, educational assistance, skills workshops  and more to spur job placement and economic stability in the communities we serve. We can provide  these and other programs thanks to the continued donations of giving patrons. We use the revenue generated in GoodwillSR stores to fund the majority of our community services.
