Celebrate the Two-Year Anniversary and Spring Pop-Up Shops Event at Laurel Rose Co. in Carrollton

Three women, three generations, and over 25 years of candle-making experience. The family-owned candle boutique and candle bar Laurel Rose Co. is celebrating its two-year anniversary on Bradley Street. You can find hand-poured candles, home decor, and gifts, as well as a hands-on candle-making experience, all at Laurel Rose Co. in Carrollton. Laurel Rose Co. is hosting their annual Spring Pop-Up Shop event on Saturday, March 12, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Karlee, one of the owners of Laurel Rose Co., describes the pop-up shop in greater detail. “We are planning for our pop-up shop to take place in front of our store with every vendor outdoors if the weather allows it. Inside Laurel Rose Co. is where you will find our mini candle bar. It will be very different from our traditional Candle Bar, where you learn candle safety, the ingredients we use, and why we started making candles. Our Mini Candle Bar is designed to be a much faster, do-it-yourself version of our traditional Candle Bar. We will have all of your needed equipment set up and ready for you. The only thing you will need to do is choose a fragrance, for which we will be providing five different options. One of us will be inside to help if you have any questions. This will be open to anyone who feels comfortable handling hot wax; however, we will require an adult to be present the entire time for anyone under the age of 15.”

Karlee announces the different vendors that will be presented during the Spring Pop-Up event. “Mcleod Family Farm grows locally seasonal cut flowers, serving the west Georgia and east Alabama areas. In January of 2019, the farm decided to start running their 1964 Ford “ Ruby” in order to serve the communities better. In March of 2019, the weekend that began the pandemic shutdown, “Ruby” made her first debut in front of Laurel Rose Co., and hasn’t looked back. McLeod Family Farm’s flower truck has been embraced by the community like they never expected. McLeod Family Farm cannot thank the community enough for all the love that they have shown them, and in return, they hope that they have brought much joy to many faces of the communities with their locally grown blooms.”

Promoting the vendors and exciting offers that will be available during the Spring Pop-Up Event, Karlee reveals, “McLeod Family Farm will offer a free gift for the first few customers and discounted prices for the first 10 visitors. We will be putting together 15 swag bags for the first 15 customers who spend $35 or more. You might find anything from wax melts and discount cards from other businesses to branded t-shirts. Hoot & Belle Soap + Bath Co. specializes in hand-made soaps, body lotions and scrubs. They have joined us before, and you have all loved their products, so come see them before they sell out. Hoot & Belle Soap + Bath Co.’s offer: Giveaway for customers that spend $25 or more; buy 3 products and get a free lip balm.

“Southern Clay Collection specializes in hand-made polymer clay jewelry. If you know Chloe Caldwell, you love her and every style she creates. Southern Clay Collection’s offer: every customer that makes a purchase with her will be entered into a giveaway.

“The Vintage Pour is a mobile beverage service created as a result of its owners’ love for a good time and the opportunity to make someone’s special event unique. The Vintage Pour’s offer: discounted package and a limited number of free t-shirts and koozies.

“Laurel Rose Co. is always looking to bring in new products and fragrances and to collaborate with other small businesses. At the end of last year, we were looking for a way to improve our customers’ online shopping experience, so we began developing an APP. It actually just launched at the end of February and is available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.”

Karlee talks about the future growth of Laurel, “We just want to thank Carrollton and the surrounding communities for the overwhelming amount of support we have been shown the last few years. Because of the support we’ve been shown, we have been able to donate generously to some of our local families and non-profit organizations–for example, The Carroll County Mental Health Advocates, The Carroll County Child Advocacy Center, and Sgt. Rob Holloway’s family. We hope to see all of you at our Spring Pop-Up Shop. We believe this will be our best one yet! Pop-up shops are such a big part of the start of Laurel Rose Co., and we can’t wait to host many more for years to come.” Karlee concludes.
