Heaven’s Food Gates Open Up at Adamson Square in Carrollton

LaToya and her husband Tracy

With over seven years of catering experience, Carrollton’s own LaToya Gamble tells us it was time for a change. Her new restaurant, Heaven in Your Home-Home Cooking, will soon open at 106 Adamson Square Suite B in downtown Carrollton. The menu will probably change daily, she tells us, with hours of operation Tuesday through Friday for lunch from 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. and breakfast only on Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

For several years now the homeless community has served as her passion with having been homeless herself not once but twice. Gamble says, “100% of proceeds of my catering business went directly to them, so thank you to everyone who ever used my catering service. Now 50% of my proceeds will still go out to the area’s homeless. We’ve been taking care of our homeless population for eight years.”

The community has supported Ms. Gamble’s ambitions fully; and now with the new restaurant opening, she asks everyone to step up even more. She says, “With inflation things have gone up tremendously, so I’m asking my new customers who know nothing about me to just come up here and let me love on you with my food.” The delicious meals will start flowing on August 2nd from the new restaurant between Samba Loca and Nama Asian Fusion.
