For the 2022 Fall Semester, the West Georgia Technical College Foundation awarded scholarships to 84 students totaling $63,168.
This semester marked the highest participation and awards the Foundation has had in quantity and total amount given in the Foundation’s history. WGTC scholarship funds assist students with education-related costs such as tuition, fees, books and more.
“On behalf of the WGTC Foundation Board of Trustees, congratulations to all of this semester’s scholarship award recipients. We are proud to celebrate our students’ accomplishments. Thank you to all of our generous donors who make this possible for our students,” said Brittney Henderson, Executive Director for the West Georgia Technical College Foundation.
Scholarships are offered each semester to students in a variety of programs and locations at WGTC.
