DESCRIPTION:The LaGrange Fire Department will be hosting a CPR Certification Class on Saturday, June 13th, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.\nThis course is designed for anyone who wants to gain the skills and confidence to respond during a cardiac emergency. Participants will receive hands-on instruction in adult, child, and infant CPR, AED use, and relief of choking. Early CPR and AED use can significantly increase a person’s chance of survival during sudden cardiac arrest.\nWhether you need certification for work or simply want to be prepared to help someone in need, this course is a great opportunity to learn lifesaving skills.\nWHO: LaGrange Fire Department, American Red Cross, & American Heart Association\nWHAT: CPR Certification Class\nWHEN: *SATURDAY*, June 13th, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.\nWHERE: LaGrange Fire Department Training Room, 115 Hill Street, LaGrange, GA 30241\nCOST: $25 per person\nThe LaGrange Fire Department hosts quarterly CPR classes (every 3 months) that include Heartsaver (CPR and First Aid) and BLS (no First Aid).  Class size is limited to 20 participants.  If you have a large group or company in need of certification, these classes can be scheduled outside our quarterly classes by contacting our instructors directly atJHighlandCPR@gmail.com ( mailto:JHighlandCPR@gmail.com )  or QBrown@lagrangega.org ( mailto:QBrown@lagrangega.org ).\nRegistration is required to attend.
