According to an updated Facebook post from AGW Ice Cream, a fire yesterday morning caused the ice cream parlor to close.
It reads in full, “We are blown away with all of your heartfelt comments, calls, texts, and prayers! We have spent the last 24 hours so heartbroken with the state of our ice cream shop— we love this place so much! Have no doubt—will be back! Our arcade is still up and running and the ice cream parlor will recover! We are so thankful that no employees or customers were injured. We are focusing on what the future holds for our little ice cream shop and we can’t wait to see what that looks like. We are so honored to be part of a community that continues to make us feel so loved! We would also like to say a HUGE thank you to the Carrollton fire department for absolutely everything! They are true heroes and such kind individuals. We will try to keep you all as up to date as possible.”
